About the job:
The Red Hat Commercial Sales team is looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Commercial Inside Sales Representative to join us in Melbourne, Australia. In this role, you will be an integral part of the Red Hat ANZ commercial sales team, working with experienced field sales account managers to achieve sales growth across Australia and New Zealand. You'll identify and take advantage of opportunities within these customers, track customer data and coordinate support required from our ecosystem partners. You will manage internal stakeholders such as Legal, Finance, Marketing, and our technical teams, to optimise our quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.As a Commercial Inside Sales Representative, you will also be responsible for prospecting within an assigned territory to uncover new business opportunities to be delivered via our growing partner ecosystem. You’ll have the opportunity to exercise your sales skills with various industry verticals and businesses across Australia/New Zealand by demonstrating your ability to work within strategic plans and marketing initiatives.

What you will do:

- Support your field sales account managers by providing quotes and pricing and by responding to sales inquiries
- Work with Finance, Bid Desk, Legal, and Operations teams across the region to facilitate deals and make sure all necessary information is provided
- Oversee and serve as an escalation point for renewals managed by third parties
- Generate and qualify new business opportunities in your assigned region
- Work on progressing opportunities via Partners
- Be aware of all sales-related activities in our customer contact database; schedule follow-up activities as needed
- Update and manage the pipeline and prepare revenue forecasts

What you will bring:

- Demonstrated success in a similar technology or software sales support position, e.g., outside sales, inside sales, telesales, or sales administration; record of achieving sales goals
- Understanding of the complete sales cycle management from prospect to close
- Demonstrated ability to find, qualify and close opportunities via partners
- Ability to work well within a team
- High-quality customer service skills
- Ability to work on your own to close deal values up to $50,000 over the phone
- Ability to build long-term relationships with customers by establishing trust and credibility
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Experience working with reporting, spreadsheets, and office tools
