**Full job description**

We are seeking to build a pool of experienced, energetic, and motivated Medical Receptionists for casual shifts to cover leave and sickness within our practices. Our clinic's have great GP’s and friendly welcoming staff.

Our Practice opening hours range from 6:45am - 7:00pm Monday to Friday

Weekends from approximately 7:00am - 5:00pm Saturday and Sunday

**You must be able to travel between different clinics as and when required**

**The following are considered essential for the position**:

- Medical reception experience is a must (minimum 1 year)
- Best Practice software experience is a must (minimum 1 year)
- A passion for customer service and exceptional communication and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise a workload
- Able to work as part of a team or independantly
- Be approachable and diligent
- Handle pressure and able to work independently
- Pleasant telephone manner.

**Duties (but not limited to)**
- Meeting and greeting patients
- Answering phones and making appointments
- Billing and receipting money
- Entering and scanning patient data and documents
- Process Medicare billings and payments accurately
- Assist with day-to-day banking
- Troubleshooting / Problem solving
