To supplement their positive growth a newly created Payroll Officer position has been created to join their experienced, Brisbane based team.

**The Role**

You will play an integral part in accurately process daily payroll activities, end-to-end payroll finalisation, leading and coordinating payroll project work and systems improvement initiatives. Working closely with several internal and external teams as directed by the Payroll Manager.

As the Payroll Officer your key responsibilities will include;
- You will also be required to distribute and manage all payslips, weekly and monthly costing reports to finance, and ongoing reports to managers.
- Ensuring statutory related payroll compliance payments,
documentation and reporting are completed and adhered to in a timely manner.
- Preparing monthly pays for processing.
- Validating and entering all leave forms, cash out forms, terminations
accordance with statutory requirements.
- Monthly reconciliations of actual to budgets in payroll.
- Resolving payroll discrepancies, calculations.
- Enter new employees and updating payroll information.
- Assistance and back up to support both Accounts receivable and payable functions.
- Assist in month end closing.
- Credit/Debit card reconciliation.

**About You**

This position suits an experienced Payroll professional who will be systems savvy, and also be a strong business partner as this role will be tasked with building and maintaining strong working relationships across several departments within the organisation.
