August Trade Sdn Bhd is a growing supplier of construction and building materials, trusted by retail customers for quality products and reliable service. Now, we are focused on increasing our sales and expanding into the trade sector.

To support this goal, we are seeking Sales Representatives who can help us grow our presence in the construction market, generate new business, and maintain strong relationships with trade and retail clients alike.

**Purpose of the Role**

This role supports our expansion strategy by focusing on new client acquisition, deeper trade relationships, and increased brand visibility — both on-site and online. You will play a hands-on role in growing our customer base and helping us become a preferred supplier for renovation and construction professionals.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Actively promote and sell our range of tiles, renovation products, and tools to both new and existing customers
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, cold calls, site visits, and referrals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, contractors, retailers, and project stakeholders
- Provide product demonstrations, make tailored recommendations, and offer basic technical support
- Use social media platforms to promote products, engage with potential customers, and generate leads
- Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to the company’s overall growth goals
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities
- Prepare quotations, process orders, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction and timely deliveries

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in sales, preferably in building materials, renovation products, or construction tools
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Comfortable using social media for business (posting, responding to enquiries, showcasing products)
- Basic understanding of renovation tools and materials (more preferably)
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for customer and site visits
- Availability to work part-time

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term, Casual

Pay: $25.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 32 per week
