Busines Improvement Advisor

SYNOPSIS:
Are you passionate about streamlining processes, reducing inefficiencies and delivering measurable results? We’re on the lookout for a forward-thinking **Business Improvement Advisor** to champion smarter ways of working across the City of Melville.

In this strategic role, you’ll lead business improvement initiatives, work closely with internal stakeholders, and play a key part in enhancing service delivery, operational efficiency and compliance. If you’re someone who thrives on driving change, influencing stakeholders, and using data to guide decisions, this is the opportunity.

**Location**: City of Melville Civic Centre

**Salary**: $139,511.66 + 11.5% Super

**Employment Type**: Permanent, Full Time

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Oversee the coordination of eth outsourced internal audit program and report findings to the Audit, Risk & Improvement Committee
- Drive process analysis, root cause identification, and implementation of evidence-based improvements
- Contribute to business improvement projects and Service Plan Reviews
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify innovative solutions
- Use data analytics to inform decision-making and track process improvement effectiveness
- Foster a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement

**What We’re Looking For**
- Current National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain
- A tertiary qualification in Business Analysis, Process Improvement, Economics, Accounting or similar
- Demonstrated experience in driving business improvement, change management or service design initiatives
- Strong understanding of risk and audit principles within a compliance framework
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Proficiency in business improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, etc) and experience in local government or public sector environment are highly regarded
