**The Role**

The purpose of this role is to deliver ongoing financial, commercial and strategic insights & analytics that improve and support business decision making. The role will ensure that insights are available on time and are reliable. The role requires the ability to work with multiple Finance and Business Partners to support transformational growth and efficiencies, driving actionable insights and analytics. Additionally, the role will provide support and advice to optimise the current suite of business reports. As a SME across Tableau, ThoughtSpot, Alteryx & Google Cloud Platform (GCP), this role will mentor other Business Partners & Analysts in best practices around automation, visual analytics & performance insights

**What You’ll be Doing**
- Develop a strong understanding of business operations & commercial impacts, and in turn, work with other Business Partners to review existing insights & analytics, automate where feasible
- Build insightful performance artefacts that will drive new opportunities for growth, and to support the performance narrative, in partnership with FP&A, Operational Finance and Commercial Finance teams, in addition to the broader Hotels Business
- Ensure timeliness & reliability within the productionised suite of Commercial insights to ensure they are reconciled to sources of truth, and delivered on time
- Provide independent analytical support across key strategic priorities. I.e. Optimisation programme
- Maintain endorsed & reliable analytics products, in partnership with Finance and Data & Analytics team that support the budget and forecast processes
- Act as the conduit between Endeavour Infrastructure, BI, Data Analytics teams to optimise functionality, design, process improvement, and training as it relates to Commercial insights & analytics
- Assist with the development & monitoring of the Commercial analytics strategy and ensure it is aligned to business goals
- Assist with the development & monitoring of the data quality & governance strategies, identify anomalies in production data sources

**About You**

Essential
- Minimum of 5+ years relevant experience in similar commercial role
- Previous experience in data analysis, visualisation & modelling with ability to summarise high volumes of data, leveraging business analytics tools such as Tableau, ThoughtSpot, Alteryx, GCP within a commercial environment
- Experience of multi-functional team and / or experience in the retail or gaming/hospitality sectors
- Proven experience in a business partnering role
- Ability to communicate complex business data in a simple way to a broader audience
- Ability to drive efficiencies in reporting through automation

Desirable
- Understanding of Master Data and Data Quality concepts
- Tableau desktop experience with the following areas
- Data visualisation best practices
- Level of Detail Calculations
- Performance monitoring and optimisation of workbooks
- Data source curation and standardisation of data formats
- Understanding of programming languages (R / Python) to manipulate ‘off the shelf’ tools, data pipelines in Alteryx
