Diploma Group Leader

**The Falcam Family** are currently looking for an enthusiastic, caring and reliable Diploma Qualified (Early Childhood Education and Care) Group Leaders, for our two centres located in Queanbeyan and Yass.
- Queanbeyan Childcare Centre - Additional Group Leader position
- Early Learning on Rossi in Yass - Additional Group Leader position

These positions are open to Subclass 494 Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) Visa applicants. 494 Visa applicants must meet strict criteria to be eligible. The advertised positions are 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, and based on 7.5 hrs per day on a rotating roster (Successful 494 applicants will be employed on a full time 38 hour per week basis).

**Locations**:
Your duties will include but not be limited to ;
- Leading, guiding and supporting a team which provides high quality early childhood education and care;
- Planning, implementing and evaluating programs for children that align with our values and policies.
- Developing strong interpersonal relationships with colleagues, children, parents and families.
- Implementing and always upholding the policies and associated procedures and practices of the organisation.
- Working in accordance with the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law and applicable regulations and the National Quality Standard for Early Education and Care.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Hold a current Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) approved diploma level (or higher) early childhood education and care qualification.
- Hold a current First Aid Certificate - Child Care approved (HLTAID012 or HLTAID004) including current CPR certificate.
- Cleared New South Wales Working with Children’s Check (WWCC)
- Demonstrated understanding of the National Quality Standard and the Early Years Learning Framework
- Provide two recent work-based references.
- 494 Visa applicants MUST HAVE a minimum of 3 years full time employment experience (or equivalent) as a childcare Group Leader, or similar role
- 494 Visa applicants MUST HAVE an ACECQA Migrant Skills Assessment - or be willing to attain one
- 494 Visa applicants MUST HAVE Competent English Skills, meeting minimum standards of an IELTS band score of at least 6.0 in all four test components
- Australian Citizenship or Visa Eligibility, if required.
