**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Ensure raw materials requiring pre-qualification are tested before released to production
- Conducting internal audits to schedule.
- Implementing quality related audit corrective actions (Victorian Specific)
- Assist QA Coordinator and Quality Manager in administering the customer complaints system (Victorian specific)
- Maintaining calibration of lab equipment and factory equipment.
- Managing retained production samples and quality records databases
- Maintain general laboratory housekeeping standards.
- Assisting the management of external auditors and corrective actions

**Position Requirements include**
- Previous experience in Quality Control within a chemical manufacturing environment/ painting industry is highly desired.
- High degree of numeracy and accuracy.
- High attention to detail.
- Competent skills using MS Office software.
- Excellent communication - verbal & written.
- Tertiary qualifications in relevant science or engineering BA level are desirable but not essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
