**Dental Front Desk Position** Please note that a detailed covering letter showing your particular interest in our position is essential to be considered. - Details: _ This position requires dedication together with outstanding people and organisational skills that will be an asset to our long-established practice. - The role will involve: _ Being a friendly, helpful and efficient point of contact for patients (managing enquiries, making appointments (incl managing required Covid Triage procedures), welcoming patients, managing the inevitable daily changes seamlessly while keeping patients and clinical team happy, effective follow-up etc.) Managing patient flow into the practice (e.g. appointment confirmations, recalls, ad-hoc marketing initiatives), and through the practice (e.g. patient welcome, oversight, farewell) Financial responsibilities (e.g. processing patient payments, paying bills, reconciling funds, banking, online claiming, financial reports, invoice and statement reconciliations) Overseeing stock control (e.g. monitor clinical usage, ordering to minimise costs, liaising with representatives of dental supply companies) Maintaining up-to-date and accurate patient and financial data Working closely with other members of the dental team to ensure the smooth running of the practice (including liaising with the principal and practice manager, reviewing and monitoring staff rosters, assisting clinical staff when needed) Taking on added projects with enthusiasm and innovative thinking. Bringing your own added value to each project - Working hours:_ Four days per week. Actual hours and days worked will be discussed at interview and determined to most effectively meet the needs of the practice. Flexibility is required. - Remuneration:_ Will be commensurate with experience and contribution to practice productivity and profitability. - Starting date:_ As soon as possible. - have excellent presentation and professional communication skills - have a friendly, positive and engaging personality - always exhibit exceptional people skills both to our patients and within the team - be a good organiser, with an attention to detail and the ability to multi-task - be proactive and a "task-completer" - be adaptable and reliable while enjoying challenges - demonstrate a capacity to learn quickly - show initiative to seek ways to improve the practice's performance - have previous dental receptionist and/or dental nurse experience Do you have full working rights to work in Australia?
