**Delivery Driver / Yard Person | Brisbane**

We specialise in the hire, service and sales of air compressors, generators, lighting towers, message boards and traffic management systems as well as providing on-site diesel refuelling services. The company has a permanent full-time position available for a hardworking and reliable Delivery Driver / Yard Person to join our busy team in our Brisbane (Darra) depot.

**The main responsibilities of the role include**:

- Ute deliveries and collection of rental equipment
- Washing of returned equipment and preparation ready for hire
- Keeping the yard clean and arranging equipment as needed
- Ensure hire returns are refuelled (if required) and entered on fuel log
- Assisting with on-site Diesel Fuel deliveries as required
- Appropriate ad-hoc duties as directed
- Processing of equipment returns and assist with off hires (refuel / hours used)
- Assisting workshop staff with servicing and repairs

**We are seeking a person with the following skills, experience and attributes**:

- **A valid forklift license is essential**:

- MR or HR license is preferred but not essential to be considered for this position
- White card is required
- Excellent driving record and safety focused (copy of driving record to be provided at interview)
- Has previous experience making deliveries and towing/reversing trailers or equipment
- Has previously worked in a manufacturing, construction or industrial environment
- Has a great work ethic and a “CAN-DO” attitude
- Able to follow instructions and work unsupervised
- Is self-motivated and takes pride in their work
- Is reliable and punctual and has excellent work ethics
- Is focused on providing the best service to our customers
- Pays attention to detail
- Is capable of performing physical activities
- Can work overtime, including weekends when needed
- Has a stable work history and checkable work references

- Day shift

COVID-19 considerations:
Applicants must have a valid Covid-19 Certificate

**Experience**:

- Customer Service: 2 years (preferred)
- Delivery Driving: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate (required)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Heavy Vehicle Driver Licence (preferred)
- White Card (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
