Our **Immanuel Gardens** Aged Care community enjoys stunning ocean views or bush land vistas set within 86 acres of lush sub-tropical gardens, in Buderim on the Sunshine Coast.

**About the role**:
In short, your day-to-day will primarily be spent with the residents providing quality care that enhances and promotes their quality of life, with a focus on ensuring the care you provide empowers each individual to live the life they choose.

As an exceptional and compassionate **Personal Carer** you can expect your general day-to-day to look something like this:

- Providing personal care assistance to support everyday living
- Support domestic and household duties, including meal support and supporting routine activities
- Maintaining and promoting a therapeutic environment for the management of the residents, according to the Aged Care Standards and accepted best practice
- Collecting and reporting data and completing assessments to assist with the formation of nursing care plans and funding submissions for each resident
- Establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships within the service and also members of the external health care team

Rest assured, no day will be the same in this busy and varied role

**About you**:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to form lasting connections with our residents and their families
- Hold a Certificate III (or higher) in Individual Support (Aged Care) or similar
- Have experience working as a Personal Carer in Residential Aged Care and will understand the importance of delivering exceptional holistic resident care
- Hold an Australian driver’s licence
- Be available to work a variety of shifts including mornings, afternoons, nights and weekends.

**It is essential that you**:

- Hold a current NDIS Worker Screening
- Are fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and Flu
