Established in 2000, Austek Play are an _**AWARD-WINNING**_ commercial playground company, that specialises in providing innovative and interactive playground designs and outdoor fitness equipment to Schools, Councils, Resorts & Community organisations across NSW and QLD.

**We have one of Australia’s largest ranges of playground and outdoor fitness equipment available **In the past 5 years, we have seen significant growth in providing iconic outdoor recreational spaces and destination playgrounds across NSW and QLD.

Reporting to the Project Manager, we are looking for someone to assist our site team on commercial construction sites across South East QLD and Northern NSW. With all tools provided, this role will see you:

- Maintain detailed information regarding project works
- Undertaking site layout and mark-out
- Co-ordinate contractors and fellow staff on site
- Detailed earthworks set out and supervision
- Co-ordinate materials and deliveries
- Monitor and control on site safety
- Installation of park and playspace infrastructure
- Installation of playspace surfacing both organic and synthetic
- Installation of concrete paths, edging and slabs
- Installation of retaining walls and drainage systems
- General landscaping and labouring.

With the warehouse based at Capalaba, you will be the eyes and ears on site for the Project Manager and take initiative to make things happen

Experience required:

- Ability to coordinate trades and materials whilst maintaining professional and safe construction sites
- Read and interpret construction plans and contour plans
- Competent with site layout, site mark out and establishing levels
- Trade qualifications e.g. Structural Landscaping or Carpenter highly desirable
- Strong WH&S compliance, ensuring that work is carried out in a safe working manner, and maintaining a safe work environment
- Effective time management skills
- Have strong multi-tasking, organisation and prioritisation skills
- Ability to communicate with contractors and key stakeholders effectively and confidently
- Hold an Construction industry induction card
- MR Licence and equipment / plant operator licences
- Must be eligible for, or hold a current Blue Card

Salary is negotiable, depending on experience and qualifications - **vehicle and phone provided.**

**This is very much a hands-on, customer facing role and you will ideally have a landscape construction or carpentry background.**

The role requires you to be able to travel from time to time (QLD and Northern NSW only).

**Salary**: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
