**The Role**
- Our Service Team is expanding and we are currently seeking an electrical technician to work ongoing, Mon-Fri, based in Clayton. Current licenses required and prior experience in a service tech role or maintenance position is desirable._

The office/workshop is in Clayton, however, work will take you throughout Melbourne and surroundings and possibly occasional interstate trips.

The role is a Monday to Friday position but you may be required to work on the weekend on occasion.

**Your day -to
- day activities may vary and your key responsibilities will include**:

- Attending sites and diagnosing and repairing a wide range bakery equipment (Gas & Electric)
- Quoting for replacement parts
- Preparing and evaluating sites for projects and new installations
- Installing starting-up and commissioning equipment
- Assisting clients/operators on function of equipment
- Advising clients on service intervals
- Complete preventative maintenance of equipment
- Follow up on action required after phone conversation or site visit
- Final assembly and testing of equipment before installation
- Assist with checking operating manuals and recommending any required changes to team
- Work with Sales, Engineering or Manufacturing regarding field requests and advise of service problems that indicate any design or manufacturing deficiencies and the like
- Working with Sales team on service-related sales opportunities
- Promoting good customer relations
- Working unsupervised and in a team

**To be successful, you will have the following skills**:

- Be a licensed Electrician (REL with fault finding is acceptable)
- A background in Bakery and Food equipment is desirable
- Eye for detail and ability to provide high quality workmanship
- Clear, courteous & professional communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work in a team and autonomously
- Driver's License
- Enjoy building relationships and trust with clients

**Salary**: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Service technician: 1 year (preferred)
