**The Role**

Key responsibilities and expectations for this important role include:

- Providing continuity of business support, to the United States based Business Manager, for activities that are undertaken in Australia but managed through a ‘country to country’ support arrangement between Australia and the United States.
- Providing detailed financial reporting and management, policy and legislative advice in relation to complex work issues and contribute to strategic planning, program and project reporting and policy development.
- Application of effective and ongoing communication and relationship management skills across a wide variety of stakeholders with very complex needs and systems, within Australia and the United States.

**About our Team**
The Heavy Air Lift Systems Program Office (HALSPO) at Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Base Amberley is an important business unit within the Airlift and Tanker Systems branch of the Aerospace Systems Division. HALSPO is the in-service support agency responsible for sustaining and enhancing the C-17A Globemaster Heavy Lift Transport, RAAF’s KC-30A Multi Role Tanker Transport, Boeing Business Jet and Falcon 7X Special Purpose Aircraft capabilities for Air Force. These fleets form the backbone of the Strategic Air Mobility capability within Defence and are utilised for roles ranging from humanitarian support to high-end operations.

In this role you will enjoy an outwardly engaged environment with multiple complex stakeholder groups from within defence and wider Industry, whilst working as part of C-17 Logistics Management Teams within HALSPO.
