Choice Consultancy is experiencing a period of growth and as a result, we are currently looking for passionate and reliable Disability Support workers who can commit regular hours to support people in their own homes.

**This Position**

We are looking for someone who can support a young client with Down Syndrome. Looking to find several people to help with support work and cleaning with a view to further responsibilities.

**About You**

To succeed in this role, you will need to have **patience and be very friendly and able to speak very clear english. ** You will have excellent communication skills and strive to have a positive impact on the well-being of our clients. Ideally, you will have experience of working with disabled people.

You must also bring
- Demonstrated high-level verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills and be able to work autonomously
- Demonstrated experience in individual or disability support (ideal)
- Access to a fully maintained vehicle, and a valid driver’s license
- Be fully vaccinated as working with vulnerable people
- Current police check

**How to Apply**

Applicants will be required to provide a current (12 months or less) National Police Check and Working with Children check prior to appointment and be fully vaccinated.

**Salary**: Up to $34.00 per hour
