**About Role**

We are seeking a qualified, skilled, and experienced Tiler to join our dynamic team on beautiful Lindeman Island, just off the coast near Airlie Beach. We even cover your flight from Airlie Beach to the island

This role involves working on a commercial project (a hotel being renovated on Lindemann Island).

**Please note: This role is offered on a contractor basis, not as a full-time position.**
- **The pay rate ranges from $60.00 to $85.00 per square meter, depending on your experience.**_
- Food and accommodation will be provided to you as you will be required to stay on Lindeman Island.
- Designated rooms have been set aside for our working teams in the same hotel, which will most likely be shared accommodation with others from the project team.
- Food will be provided three times a day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well.
- The travel from Airlie beach to Lindeman Island will also be provided via boat but it will be planned trips to drop workers off on the island at scheduled periods only.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled following design plans and blueprints.
- Cut tiles to size and shape using hand and power tools.
- Lay tiles in precise and attractive patterns, ensuring even spacing and alignment.
- Grout and seal tile joints for a polished finish.
- Repair and replace damaged tiles and maintain the highest standards of workmanship.
- Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other trades to ensure project specifications are met.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.

**To be successful you will need**:

- Relevant trade qualification or certification is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Tiler in construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of different tiling materials (ceramic, porcelain, marble, etc.) and installation techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency with tiling tools and equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour
