**The Client**:
Our client is an industry leader in critical time freight who has a strong focus on safety and takes the trust of their clients seriously. They pride themselves on maintaining a positive work culture and close relationships with both clients and drivers to ensure excellence in the transportation industry.

Located in Sydney's west, they have a permanent role available for Transport Allocator who is driven to maintain excellence within their delivery and receiver-focused framework.

**The Role**:
**Key responsibilities**:

- Coordinating and scheduling drivers within the specified operational hours.
- Collaborating with dayshift supervisors, admin, customer service, and afternoon shift personnel.
- Occasional hands-on work, including checking and sorting freight, loading/unloading trucks with a forklift, driving vans to do deliveries and pickups
- Adhering to established procedures while demonstrating flexibility to find alternative solutions when necessary.
- Utilizing IT systems for efficient workflow and maintaining attention to detail.
- Minimum 5 years experience in warehousing or freight industry, managing a team of people and looking after vans, rigid trucks, and semi-trailers.
- Class C licence and a clean driving record
- Current Forklift Licence or be willing to obtain
- Ability to work flexible hours, including 8am - 5 pm, 9am - 6 pm or until the last truck arrives
- Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a team player attitude.
- Knowledge and compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements and obligations.
