The Opportunity

Reporting to the Venue Manager, this role will be a driving force behind the daily guest experience at the Starward Distillery. You will champion our experience program by leading team training, executing booked experiences to a high standard, and identifying ways to elevate how we welcome and host our guests. From immersive tours to casual whisky tastings to event hosting and masterclasses, this role is all about delivering the best, personal, and engaging service every time.

Key responsibilities include:

- Manager on Duty and Shift Operations including front of house service
- Tours, Tastings and Bookable Experiences
- Team Development and Culture
- Compliance and Safety

About you

We’re looking for someone with hospitality experience (+3 years), ideally in a bar, distillery, winery or cellar door setting. With strong product knowledge of spirits, cocktails and/or wine preferred.

Experience with reservation and POS systems (e.g. SevenRooms, Lightspeed) will be highly regarded along with public speaking or event hosting experience.

A current RSA will be required.
