Siemens Overhead Medium Voltage Systems (OMVS) business segment seeks a Product Lifecycle Manager (PLM) for the product portfolio at our global centre of competence and factory at Yatala, Queensland. Your responsibilities will extend from maximising the profitability of existing products to developing new products for this global outdoor switchgear portfolio.

As Product Lifecycle Manager, you will introduce products from existing ideas and help to develop new developments based on your industry experience and contact with customers and prospects. You must possess a blend of business and technical knowledge; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand their problems and find innovative solutions for the broader market.

As a key member of the team, your strategic development of the OMVS portfolio will ensure business growth. You will work closely alongside the business developers and the R&D team to ensure all product development requirements are feasible, and then have ownership of the product through to introduction and promotion. Travel across Australia and overseas to ensure success of these new ideas.
