Northrop Grumman Australia partners with the Royal Australian Air Force to provide through-life support for its fleet of C-27J Spartan Airlifter aircraft. The C-27J complements the Australian Defence Force’s existing Air Mobility fleet and provides airlift of people, equipment and supplies to support Humanitarian Disaster Relief and crisis response in Australia and nearby regions.

**Your Role**
- Assist in performing on or off wing aircraft maintenance in support of Crew Leaders, Supervisors and AME’s in a direct supervision capacity.
- Perform installations, preventative maintenance and repairs on buildings, mechanical equipment and utility systems using one or more trade skills.
- Prepare and maintain records of completed maintenance repair work.
- Assist with Risk Assessment evaluation and development as part of a wider team.
- Helping to complete Deep maintenance execution either in a direct or indirect capacity as required.

**About You**
- Interest or background in mechanical engineering.
- Aircraft technical experience, with a strong passion for anything aircraft related is desirable for the position but not required.
- Highly motivated, with a willingness to learn and perform the general duties around the hangar to help support the line and deep maintenance teams.
- Continuously working to improve processes and procedures to ensure the most efficient work is being completed at the highest quality.
- Basic safety commitments are essential for this position.
