An exciting opportunity for a **Trade Assistant** to join our fun, collaborative, and hardworking team based at our Defence site in Amberley The Trade Assistant will work a **38-hour week** and may be required to work flexible hours occasionally to meet demands.

**About the role**
The Trade Assistant is responsible for the assistance of maintenance activities including tyre fitting on a vast range of exciting equipment fleets currently used by Defence.- Physical labour, manual handling, moving materials and other ad-hoc tasks around the site.
- Preparing site & Site clean-up.
- Assisting with the preparation of tools for tradesmen.
- Using hand tools and power tools.

**About you**
- 1 Year
- mechanical/tyre fitting Trade Assistance experience preferred.
- A commitment to OH&S practices.
- Moderate verbal communication skills.
- Current Driver's License.
- Fork Lift License preferred.
- You must be an Australian Citizen to obtain a Defence security clearance.
