The Content & Technology Solutions group is responsible for the growth and support of FactSet’s DataFeed products. We aim to streamline our client’s internal processes with FactSet data delivery.
The Global CTS Client Solutions team consists of 80+ people across FactSet’s global offices, covering Support, Implementation, and Professional Services functions.
Due to our continuing growth, we are seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join the Content & Technology Solutions group as a DataFeed Implementation Specialist.
You will be given immediate responsibility, working directly on exciting and challenging projects and delivering business solutions for our clients. You will mainly be responsible for the project management of new DataFeed implementations, including pre-sales activity, gathering client requirements, preparing sample files, process design, implementation, and testing. You will be working closely with CTS Sales, CTS Professional Services, CTS Product Management, and Generalist Sales and Consulting teams throughout the implementation process.
You will gain exposure to the entire CTS product suite which includes Standard DataFeeds (FactSet proprietary and third-party content), Benchmark DataFeeds, APIs, Open:FactSet, Cloud solutions, and learn to design solutions tailored to each client using a combination of CTS products. Implementation specialists coordinate all large-scale implementations which require their expertise and are the main point of contact for other CTS specialists and Product Management globally.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Client relationship management
- External and internal training
- Involvement in product development
- Day to day support and escalation of existing clients
**Requirements**:
We welcome ambitious team players with a proven ability to take initiative and find creative solutions to client problems. Applicants must have a genuine interest in finance and technology, as well as the desire to continually learn and develop in an ever-changing environment.
- 3+ years in a client-facing role, preferably with experience overseeing large-scale project rollouts.
- Experience with analyzing large amounts of data, ideally within relational databases.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of SQL and Stat Packages a plus.
- Experience working with users who consume data via feeds or are familiar with ETL processes.
- Interest in learning new technologies and how multiple systems work together.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members in other offices.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture but also execute tactical day-to-day tasks and projects.
- Strong project management skills, and ability to work on multiple projects with shifting priorities.
- Good understanding of FactSet Proprietary Content and Equity/Fixed Income benchmarks.
