**About the role**

Join ACMI's Programming team as a Project Curator to lead the curation and development of a major ACMI exhibition exploring puppetry on screen. Working closely with ACMI's Director of Curatorial, Programming and Education, Head Curator, and Director of Exhibitions, Collections and Touring, this role liaises with a range of stakeholders on the delivery of an international museum standard exhibition for our audiences. This is a new full-time fixed term role reporting to the Head Curator.

**What you'll bring to the role**
- Experience in the development of major cultural exhibitions focusing on the medium of screen culture (including art, film, games and digital content), developing and delivering high quality visitor experiences and audience outcomes.
- Track record in the delivery of complex exhibition experiences that combine artefacts, interactivity, art and media into compelling experiential spaces.
- Demonstrated experience in museology and film in contemporary exhibition contexts with excellent research, writing and professional proof-reading skills.
- Strong networks in national and international museums and film sectors, with a high level of experience loaning and adapting relevant material culture for inclusion in major exhibitions.
- The ability to discern and critique the qualities of screen arts and interactive installations, their operability and suitability in the context of an organisation's objectives with the end goal of providing memorable experiences for diverse audiences.
