Accounts Payable Officer

**About the Role**
We are looking for a passionate Accounts Payable Officer with end to end accounts payable and MYOB experience. Knowledge of Procore software would be a bonus, however, full training will be provided.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Manage, check and process invoices and payments to subcontractors and suppliers
- Distribute invoices to Project Managers for approval
- Attend to subcontractor and supplier queries
- Prepare EFT and cheque payment runs
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Reconcile company credit card statements
- Process intercompany transactions
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
- Other ad hoc tasks as required
**About You**
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
- Strong organisational skills with an ability to prioritise tasks and deliver timely and accurate output
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to changing needs of business
- Proficient in data entry
- A sound understanding of basic accounting and GST
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience in electronic banking and payment file generation
- Ability to build good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
**Salary**: $65,000.00 per year
