**Engineering Trades Australia** has recently been engaged by a
**major WA mining contractor** to supply a number of
**Process Technicians **to support upcoming FIFO on-going roster work.

You can expect to receive the benefits of:

**The Process Operator **is required to safely operate assets to convert minerals into a saleable concentrate while complying with all approvals and commitments. You will be reporting to the Production Supervisor and your responsibilities include:

- Actively identify documents and control hazards
- Incident reporting
- Operating the Concentrator safely through controlling, monitoring, adjusting, fixing, recording, cleaning and improving sections of the concentrator
- Correct and safe following of procedures and instructions
- Support concentrate production to meet the required standard

It is essential to have the following skills and qualifications to prosper in this role:

- Western Australian C Class Drivers Licence
- Great interpersonal and communication skill
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proven ability to operate in a safe and time efficient manner
- Excellent mechanical aptitude
- Proven ability working in a mining or other heavy industry environment
- Strong understanding of mineral processing

Desirable qualifications and skills include:

- Western Australian MR Class Drivers Licence
- Skid Steer/Front End Loader/ Working at heights/ Excavator/Forklift and/or Confined Space Entry Ticket/s
- Certificate II Process Plant Operations
- Experience with filtration, magnetic separation and flotation in a mining or other heavy industry environment
- Experience with scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities in a mining or other heavy industry environment
