**Overview**

We are seeking an outcome driven Mechanical Engineering Crane Technician to work together with our Supervisors in finding solutions for our customer’s lifting needs and make sure their projects are completed in an economic, safe and time efficient manner.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Collection of information about the lift project from Supervisor, customer or third parties
- Inspect and analyse provided drawings and information
- Review and validate the Supervisor’s crane and configuration choice for the project, confirming the crane’s lifting capabilities, site restrains, economic efficiency, etc.
- Creation lift plans, including all necessary information for the crane operator to execute the lift and documentation of the required lifting gear with details of how to set it up
- Double checking of lift plans to ensure correctness

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Experience in the crane industry of at least 3 years
- Knowledge of cranes in the >100t class
- Ability to liaise with clients in a professional manner
- Good mathematical skills
- Advanced skills with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Good organisational, computer and communication skills
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work as part of a team
- Reliability and flexibility

**What we offer**
- Annual salary between $80,000 to $90,000 based on a 47.5hr work week
