KYC & Onboarding role for investment banking clients

**Your new role**

The KYC team is responsible for onboarding clients in accordance with local and global regulatory requirements.
- Onboarding new clients in line with the KYC policy, reviewing existing clients throughout the entire client journey; regular reviews (periodic), event triggers and offboarding.
- Interacting with clients and the business to obtain KYC and regulatory information/documentation
- Work within a strong control environment that manages and minimises inherent operational risk in the client's onboarding.
- Comply with internal and external regulatory and compliance requirements
- Dealing with local and global jurisdictions for KYC/AML for clients

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline e.g. Commerce, law, accounting or similar
- 3+ years in KYC/AML function within the financial services industry, specifically corporate/institutional/wholesale client experience
- Solid understanding of performing KYC on various entities and onboarding different client types
- Certifications pertaining to AML/KYC would be advantageous
- Knowledge of other global jurisdictional KYC would be advantageous.
- Experience with Fenergo, IHS Markit, Refinitiv, World-Check One, would be advantageous
- Superior verbal and written communication skills and self-motivation and ability to prioritise
- Responsive, flexible and diligent
- Proven ability to meet deadlines, multitask and work under pressure
- Full Australian work rights and ability to work four days in office in Sydney CBD
