As we continue to grow, we are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Painting Trades Worker to join our team to work with a growing and dynamic team. Be thoroughly committed, highly reliable and
self-motivated.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Erect scaffolding and ladders, and place drop sheets to protect adjacent areas from paint splattering.
- Prepare surfaces by removing old paint and wallpaper, fixing woodwork, filling holes and cracks, and smoothing and sealing surfaces.
- Select and prepare paints to required colors by mixing pigments, oil, and thinning and drying additives.
- Hang wallpaper, match patterns, and trim edges.
- Clean equipment and work areas.
- May repair windows and replace glass in wooden and metal frames.
- May lay and repair wall and floor tiles.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- AQF Certificate III (or equivalent), including at least three years of on-the-job training,
- OR AQF Certificate IV (or Equivalent)
- OR at least three years of relevant experience.
- Strong work ethic and dedication to quality craftsmanship.
- Strong attention to detail

**Salary and Benefits**:

- Competitive salary with guaranteed annual earnings starting at $80,000.
- Full-time + Superannuation, permanent position with opportunities for overtime.
- Overtime pays and additional benefits included.

Pay: $80,000.00 per year

- Construction painting: 3 years (preferred)
