**Nutrition Warehouse is looking for an experienced and commercially astute Category Manager/Buyer to join our purchasing team on a 14 month Mat Leave Contract This role could have opportunity for extension or permanent employment.

**THE ROLE**

As Category Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end Inventory Management process and maintain strong commercial relationships with our supplier network.

Key responsibilities include:

- Inventory Management from engaging with suppliers, ordering and receiving stock, monitoring sales & stock levels;
- Responsible for inventory planning, analysing products, product lines, stock holdings and movement to ensure we never run out or are oversupplied;
- Conduct sales forecasting and product reports to analyse product lines and make ranging recommendations;
- Take full ownership of supplier relationships including reviewing and negotiating proposals and monitoring supplier performance; and
- Manage the ERP system, including creating new products, adjusting pricing etc.

**ABOUT YOU**

Here at Nutrition Warehouse, we value initiative and passion.
- Minimum 2 years hands-on experience managing inventory;
- Strong commercial acumen having worked previously in a retail business;
- Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
- Experience using inventory management systems;
- Excellent communication and be analytically minded; and
- Strong organisation and time management systems in place and demonstrate a high attention to detail.
