**About the role**:
Join our team as a Senior Specialist within the Land Access division, where you'll play a crucial role in facilitating land access for renewable and cleaner energy initiatives. Your responsibilities will centre on preparing and negotiating agreements with landholders and their representatives, specifically focused on Development and Construction endeavours. You'll ensure compliance with organizational protocols, statutory regulations, and contractual obligations while upholding meticulous contract governance standards.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and contractors to devise strategies ensuring safe, efficient, and effective access, aligned with Origin’s values and behaviors.
- Take a lead role in resolving land access contractual disputes and alternate dispute resolution processes in consultation with the Origin Legal team.
- Conduct due diligence across jurisdictions, provide advice on legislative and contract issues, and manage contracts governance to ensure compliance and reduce risks associated with land access agreements.
- Build sustainable relationships with landholders and their representatives through direct engagement, aiming for effective collaboration.
- Lead the development and implementation of agreement templates, procedures, processes, and policies related to land access and property agreements, aiming to simplify processes and optimize interactions across business units.

**What will you bring?**
- Minimum of 5 years expertise required in energy, resources/mining, or heavy industry fields.
- Proven track record in negotiating and executing property agreements within intricate settings.
- Proficient drafting of agreements
- Skilled in negotiation for appropriate clauses
- Demonstrated proficiency in devising strategies and initiatives to secure and sustain access to renewable energy resources and land.
- Proven adeptness in negotiation and conflict resolution, alongside the capacity to exert influence even without formal authority.
