Job Title: Barista

Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:
Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and iced coffee range according to established recipes and standards.

Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service.

Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee brewing equipment with precision and care.

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the café, including cleaning equipment, countertops, and seating areas.

Restock coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.

Handle cash and card transactions accurately and responsibly, following proper cash handling procedures.

Engage with customers in a positive and professional manner, answering questions about menu items and making recommendations.

Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and uphold quality standards throughout the shift.

Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.

Qualifications:
Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role preferred.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

RSA certificate preferred.

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.

**Salary**: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
