Medical Receptionist

Exciting opportunities exist for both casual and part-time Medical Receptionist/Administrator roles at our practice locations, Bentleigh and East Melbourne. Experience is essential with the required job specific training and support provided.

We are looking for confident and effective communicators with excellent computer skills who are organised with excellent attention to detail and ability to think laterally.

Tasks involved in the roles include:

- Meeting and greeting patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Ensure maintenance of accurate and current patient records at all times
- Prompt phone answering and dealing with all enquiries
- Maintaining patient & practice confidentiality
- Scheduling and confirming of appointments
- Invoicing
- both private and bulk billing
- Action incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Maintaining a safe and clean office and waiting room
- Clean and prepare consulting rooms
- Scanning
- Daily banking/reconciliation
- Follow up on overdue accounts
- Opening and closing of practice
- Uploading patient monitor data and cleaning equipment
- Other tasks as directed by manager
