il Pastaio is seeking someone to join our team to prepare and mix fillings that are used in pasta production:
This will lead to a permanent role for the right person. Based in Strathfield South.
- Monday - Friday, 6am Start
- Training provided onsite

**To be successful for this role you will need;**
- Previous experience within the food manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience of food preparation, following recipes for product consistency
- Be strong, fit, and healthy. Able to lift up to 20KG frequently.
- Knowledge of HACCP and safe food handling.
- High level accuracy and attention to detail
- Teamwork skills as well as ability to work autonomously
- Reliability and punctuality
- Good communication skills
- Be available to start immediately
- Have FULL WORKING RIGHTS and Availability

Your role will involve:

- Mixing raw ingredients based on batch recipes
- Assist in the production of Pasta
- Be able to perform general production paper work and quality checks when required
- Be responsible for quality
- Clean & Wash Down of food mixing equipment.
- General housekeeping duties

This is a physically demanding role, working with a hot environment.

**Salary**: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

- Food processing: 2 years (required)
