We’re looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our IT team at Country Road Group.

We're on the lookout for a strategic and forward-thinking Enterprise Architect to help drive this transformation. This role is pivotal in shaping the architecture direction for our customer, digital, and retail platforms.

As the Enterprise Architect - Customer, Digital & Retail, you’ll:

- Set the strategic direction for architecture across customer, digital, and store ecosystems.
- Champion enterprise-wide architectural decisions that are scalable, secure, and future-ready and supporting business growth (new channels, new brands etc.)
- Architect and design the transformation of legacy systems into modular, API-first, cloud-native platforms.
- Embed an AI-first approach to elevate customer engagement, personalization, and operational intelligence.
- Collaborate with business and technology leaders to ensure alignment of IT initiatives with long-term business capabilities and objectives.

**_Key Accountabilities_**

**_ Architecture Direction:_**
- Provide architectural direction and oversight across omnichannel, CRM, digital commerce, and in-store platforms.
- Drive the development and adoption of modern architecture patterns (e.g. MACH, event-driven, microservices).
- Own architecture governance and compliance across project and platform delivery.
- Investigation and analysis to provide recommendations for architectural definition, design & associated documentation for solutions across projects and the IT program in line with future strategies and Country Road Groups best interests.

**_Application Portfolio Management: _**
- Facilitate the review of business and IT roadmaps to identify capability requirements (upgrade, buy or build).
- Facilitate/lead the development of new patterns, frameworks, technologies, and solutions. Present recommendations to ITLT for adoption.
- Advocate for AI-driven capabilities across personalization, marketing automation, search, and customer intelligence.

**_Risk & Issue Management: _**
- Impact and risk assessment of key technical/architectural decisions on individual projects and across the program plan.
- Escalate critical risks to the ITLT and provide recommendations to mitigate their impact on business operations

**_Change Management & Communication: _**
- Lead the change management architecture processes for new systems and digital enhancements, ensuring mínimal disruption to customer and retail operations
- Be an escalation point for technical and implementation issues encountered by project and development teams.

**_Key Capabilities_**
- Proven experience in Solution / Enterprise Architecture, with a strong background in delivering technology solutions for customer, retail, or digital platforms within a large-scale retail environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering, Information Technology or a related field, advanced certifications (e.g., TOGAF) and knowledge of MACH principles desired.
- Strong background in cloud platforms (preferably AWS), APIs, microservices, and event-driven integration.
- Experience working with third-party vendors, delivery partners, and platform technologies.
