The Role

SMEC is currently looking for an Undergraduate / Student Planner to join our Planning and Design team in Melbourne, and work on a range of statutory and strategic planning for Masterplan Communities, Capital Works Programs, Infrastructure, Government and Urban projects.

As part of our Undergraduate intake, you will get to:

- Contribute to the delivery of major industry projects and local community ventures
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, reports, and other documents
- Partner with supportive colleagues through our buddy system
- Access a range of industry events and networking opportunities
- Be part of a large and diverse community of graduates across ANZ

We promise both in-person and online training on everything from consulting with clients to managing your time effectively through our graduate development workshops.

About You
- Studying a relevant Planning degree in your penultimate or pre-penultimate year
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to effectively manage one's time and workload
- A developed knowledge of analytical methods, tools, and principles
