Maintenance Technician - Refrigeration/Fitter, Coogee Facility, Freemantle, WA As we continue our transformation and growth journey in the region, we are now looking to appoint a **Maintenance Technician - Refrigeration/Fitter**to join our team at our Coogee facility Freemantle, WA. The Maintenance Technician - Refrigeration / Fitter is required to carry out preventative maintenance and repairs to compressors, condensers, evaporators' cold store facilities, racking and plant & equipment. The role will also manage contractors and conduct/oversee maintenance duties at the nominated sites and coordinate external trades to ensure that maintenance and contractor requirements are fulfilled to high quality standards. **Key responsibilities include but are not limited to**: - Performing preventative maintenance tasks as per requirements - Reporting all major faults to the Engineering Manager of the site - Working in accordance with Lineage Risk Management and OH&S manuals - Preventative maintenance scheduling and documentation using the MEX software system - Diagnosis of faults or breakdowns - Undertaking repairs or component replacements as required - Responsible for "out of hours" call outs for equipment breakdowns - Assisting subcontractors / trades to complete works, where required - Cleaning and maintenance of tools and work area - Inspection of work area and plant for hazards, damage and defects. - Documentation of servicing, faults and breakdowns. - Construction and refurbishment projects: - Modification of equipment and upgrade of existing facilities - Seeking advice from the relevant Safety representative regarding the Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements that are to be incorporated into the proposed service tender documentation - Ensuring insurance and other documentation provided by the contractor meets Company requirements **Your skills and experience will ideally include**: - A minimum of a trade certificate Refrigeration Mechanic - Prior relevant industrial experience working withAmmonia - License to disconnect and reconnect (restrictedelectrical License) - Experience with MEX (Maintenance ManagementSoftware) or similar maintenance managementsoftware - Strong administration and data entry skills - Hold a current and valid driver's licence - Demonstrated supervisory skills or management skills - Demonstrated ability to work as an effective teammember - Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities,systems or procedures - Ability to perform assigned tasks - Ability to work with mínimal supervision **What's exciting about this opportunity?** We're a values-based business continually striving to create an environment where everyone can feel safe, respected and can contribute to our collective success.
