About the Role
As a Product Governance Manager, you are to govern the ongoing compliance with Product Management Policy and related obligations through reviews and advice to product owners and related functions/teams.
This role is also to provide input into product governance matters for Executive Level Product commiteepapers and support to ensure the papers adequately address matters required to meet product related policy and obligations. You are also to provide support to the Product Governance Lead in product governance activities.

What will your day look like?
**This role is accountable for**:
Input into and/or development of tools and template to assist in product governance activities
Providing support to Product Committee Members and product teams in reviewing the content of product paper’s to ensure that Product Obligations (including customer outcomes) have been adequately considered in line with Product Management Policy and the Design and Distribution Obligations.
Assist in governance activities to support product compliance, including validation that committed actions have been adequately delivered and/or where further uplift activities may be required to support ongoing compliance.
As required, preparing and/or providing input to papers to update regulators on activities.
As required, providing support to the Product Governance Lead for regulatory uplift initiatives for product governance and remediation.
As required, supporting Internal Audit issue implementation related to product governance.
As required, preparing, and providing input and/or support for paper requests to forums/committees as it relates to Product Governance (e.g. Risk Committees and Board).
Identifying, planning, and/or delivering continuous improvement in Product governance practices.
Collaboration with Assurance and Risk partners to ensure that the team adheres with policies, standards and/or regulatory obligations.
Supporting Product Governance Lead with governance practices across the Division.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
Demonstrated capability in engaging with senior stakeholders across various business areas (i.e., challenge stakeholders constructively to drive and achieve viable outcomes).
Good understanding of the regulatory landscape as it relates to the Division, exemplified by familiarity with Product related obligations (e.g Design and Distribution Obligations).
Experience in coordinating and/or overseeing decision-making forums involving senior stakeholders.
Experience in preparing regulatory response documents and/or formal papers.
Proven aptitude in analysis and problem-solving.
Strong verbal and/or written communication skills, facilitating clear and effective interaction.
Strong organisational abilities, including adept at prioritisation to deliver what is critical at the point in time.
