We are currently seeking an experienced **Kitchen Hand** at our **Bethanie Geneff Aged Care Home** in **Innaloo**. This is a permanent part-time position offering the following roster schedule:
**Week 1**
- Monday: 3:00pm-10:00pm
- Friday: 9:30am-2:00pm
- Saturday: 9:30am-2:00pm
- Sunday: 9:30am-2:00pm

**Week 2**
- Friday: 9:30am-2:00pm and 3:00pm-10:00pm
- Saturday: 3:00pm-10:00pm
- Sunday: 3:00pm-10:00pm

**Kitchen Hand**
- Ensuring facility areas are clean and safe, and all food hygiene standards are met, following responsible work practices of food preparation, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Assisting is preparation, portioning and serving of meals
- Maintaining all utensils, equipment, work benches and general surrounds in a clean and safe condition
- Removal of waste in a safe manner
- Deep cleaning as per requirements
- Collecting and washing pots, pans, crockery and cutlery
- Assisting in the preparation and portioning of meals
- Assisting with the setting up of dining rooms

**Requirements**:

- Possess a passion for, and previous experience in Hospitality role ideally in an aged care or similar environment
- Have a ‘can do’ attitude and a genuine compassion for our residents
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A current police clearance, or willingness to get one
- Willingness to obtain any relevant vaccinations required
