**Day in the life of**

This role is a fixed term 3 month contract. The role will report directly through to the Buyer of this category.

This role will entail;
- General administration support
- Category and range management support
- Updating and maintaining of data for product spec sheets
- New line introduction and product registration
- Liaising with multiple suppliers through our network across South-East Asia

Communication is a large part of this role. As a Buyers Assistant you be liaising with our international/local supplier network on a daily basis. You will assist in communications for the category with internal stakeholders including our store operations, logistics, marketing and planning departments.

**What is on offer**:
The role is based at our Store Support Centre in Rochedale, Brisbane. We are based in a stunning new office with all the amenities expected including massage chairs, excellent coffee, and flash technology. Due to the location, we also offer ample free parking on-site and have weekly food trucks set up in the carpark for our staff.

**What we are looking for**:
Think you’ve got what it takes? We are looking for someone who;
- Has a high level of attention to detail and is super organised
- Can operate in a fast paced environment and stay calm under pressure
- Experience in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Loves working in a team environment
- Has a passion for retail, buying and product development
- Has experience in a Category Assistant or Buying Assistant role
- Experience in a Category Assistant or Buying Assistant role will be an advantage, but not a necessity
- Strong administration or data entry skills
