As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients receive exceptional care from the moment they walk through the door. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet patients warmly and professionally, providing a positive first impression of our medical facility.
- Handle patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar efficiently.
- Collect and update patient information accurately in the electronic health records system.
- Verify insurance information and assist patients with any billing or insurance-related questions.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a comfortable environment for patients and visitors.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and assist with any administrative tasks as needed.
- Handle incoming phone calls, relay messages, and direct calls to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations within the medical facility.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and medical staff.
- Proficiency in using electronic health systems and basic computer skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations.
- Compassionate, patient-oriented attitude, and the ability to remain calm and empathetic in stressful situations.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures is an advantage.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $24.37 - $35.91 per hour
