Are you creative, eager to learn, and passionate about helping small businesses grow? Do you have a knack for social media and a love for content creation? We’re looking for a Junior Social Media & Marketing Assistant to join our team at Your Hive, a social media and digital marketing agency based in Fremantle.

This is a part-time role, mainly Fremantle-based, with some work-from-home flexibility. It’s perfect for a current Commerce or Marketing student, or a creative someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the marketing industry while working with a supportive, small team. We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.

**About the Role**

As our Junior Social Media & Marketing Assistant, you will support the team in creating, scheduling, and managing social media content for a variety of small business clients. You’ll assist with Canva designs, help brainstorm creative content ideas, assist on client photoshoots and play a role in shaping engaging social media campaigns.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- Assisting with content creation for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Designing simple graphics in Canva (some experience preferred)
- Helping to schedule and publish posts using social media management tools
- Researching trends, ideas, and inspiration for engaging content
- Attending client photoshoots and participating in organisation sing and planning
- Supporting the team with marketing admin and organisational tasks
- Learning and developing new skills in social media and digital marketing

**What We’re Looking For**:

- A passion for small businesses and helping them succeed
- Creativity and a keen eye for design (basic Canva experience a plus)
- Some exposure to social media platforms for business use
- Great communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
- A willingness to learn and be trained in social media best practices
- Ability to work well in a small team while also being self-motivated
- Photography experience is desired, but not necessary
