**About the business and the role**

Our bottle shop is a busy independent, family owned business

We are currently looking for a serious and responsible Retail Assistant to join our team at our Cranbourne store, this position requires you to be able to hit the ground running and work to a set roster with flexibility when needed.

2 positions available:

- Full time position: Approx 38 to 40 hours per week.
- Part time position: Approx 15 - 30 hours per week

**Job tasks and responsibilities**

The role requires the followings:

- Typical retail bottle shop duties including customer service, till sales, stocking shelves and fridges whilst maintaining a high level of store presentation at all times.
- Customer service - assisting the customer through our unique product range;
- Following opening and closing store procedures and day to day tasks;
- Processing sales transactions;
- Be available to work regularly on weekends and evening shifts;
- Stock management - receiving deliveries, checking off stock, lifting boxes and putting products on shelves and in fridges;
- Recommending wine, craft beer and spirits
- Pouring wine, cleaning, polishing glasses
- Cleaning of the store

**Skills and experience**

The successful applicant will need to possess the following attributes:

- Experience in customer service skills
- Liquor industry and product knowledge
- Punctual, reliable and well presented with an ability to work autonomously
- Hospitality experience
- Experience in using POS
- RSA Essential

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 32 per week
