**About the Role**:Bookkeeper & Finance Analyst
Joining a close knit team, you will collaborate closely with your job share partner to effectively manage the company's Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, reconcile balance sheets, and oversee payments. This is a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and driving financial stability and growth.
Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with your job share partner to ensure seamless management of the company's P&L statements, balance sheets, and payment processes.
- Reconcile financial accounts, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective measures.
- Perform regular audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Monitor and analyze financial data, providing insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of financial systems and processes.

Let's look at some of the key requirements that you'll need to showcase to get to the interview stage:

- 3-4 years experience as a bookkeeper or assistant accountant
- the ability to balance a P&L and reconcile accounts
- ideally you've been hands on with Xero
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience in analysing financial data, using Power BI for analytics and reporting
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly in a job share arrangement.
