**About the role**:
GEM Resourcing is recruiting for a Trade Assistant in Cockburn, WA 6164. This position is a long-term opportunity to work with a reputable company in the transport and manufacturing space. The role involves general yard duties, such as cleaning tanks, working with transport equipment, tidying, and forklift work when required.
- A trade assistant background with a desire to work long-term locally
- A mechanical mindset or previous mechanical experience is preferred for this role.
- A positive, energetic attitude to work within a great company culture
- A hands-on and proactive approach is preferred
- Previous forklift experience is preferred
- Living local to Cockburn Central
- Experience in cleaning tanks and working with transport equipment is desirable

**To be considered for this position, you must be able to provide the following**:

- Forklift Licence
- Reference contact details of two past employers
- Based already in Perth, WA
- Have the right to work in Australia
