Male Support Worker Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Maitland area Certificate III to Join a team of special people who will make the difference in the lives those living in their own homes. Our office in Newcastle is currently seeking compassionate reliable care workers /support workers who wish to enhance the lives of our clients by providing quality in home care and Short term Accommodation settings. If you have had experience caring for an aging adult, children and adults with a disability and are compassionate, reliable and really wish to make a quality difference to the lives of Others then you should consider a role with us. We offer flexibility to work days, evenings and weekend hours, a comprehensive in house training program and competitive hourly rate of pay.

If you hold a current driver’s license with comprehensive or third party car insurance, have a reliable vehicle and you have a smart phone, you live in Newcastle, lake Macquarie Area then we would invite you to contact us.

A current Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged and Disability or Home and Community Care, a current First Aid Certificate, working with children’s Check and criminal History check and or NDIS Screener are essential.

We are a national provider of high quality in-home care for older people and NDIS Participants. We help with a range of personal and lifestyle needs while providing socialization and companionship.

Our services include 24hr In Home Care, assistance with personal care, household duties, meal preparation, medication support, transport to appointments, shopping and social outings. We take personal responsibility for providing the best in-home care and support to our clients' whilst meeting their everyday needs of living well at home. We offer our staff a rewarding, stimulating and safe working environment.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- Working with Children Check (required)
- NDIS worker Screener (required)
- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: On the road
