**In Home Child Care Educators Required - Gold Coast, Lismore and surrounding areas**

Northern Rivers In Home Child Care is a not for profit In Home Care Child Care Service servicing the Northern Rivers and Gold Coast areas, we have been an In Home Child Care Provider since 2001

We are currently looking for Educators on the Gold Coast and Lismore areas to provide an Education based program in the family’s home. We are currently recruiting for before school care, afterschool care, nonstandard hours, weekend care.

**Hourly rates**:
From $32.00 per hour **plus Superannuation**

**What is In Home Care?**

In Home Child Care is a type of education and care for families where mainstream childcare services are not available or appropriate. Families who are unable to access centre-based care, family day care or outside school hours care due to their unique circumstances may be eligible for the program.

**Your role will include**:

- Provide an education and age-appropriate program
- Ensure that age-appropriate opportunities are given to the children based on their needs and interests while providing the highest quality care
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment.
- Ensure IHC guidelines, policies and procedures of Northern Rivers Children’s Services are followed and implemented.

**Northern Rivers IHC does not charge new or existing IHC Educators any registration fees. However, we do provide Educators with outstanding support, with many services and materials free of charge, including**:

- _All relevant and necessary information to fulfill their role as an IHC Educator._
- _Regular visits from an IHC Manager who is qualified to assist them with all aspects of the care and education of young children_
- _Newsletters, forms, checklists, policies, procedures, and resource ideas to assist them in their role as an Educator_
- _Exciting and information playgroup sessions as well as access to an extensive range of toys and resources from our free toy library_
- _Processing of weekly attendance records and deposit of CCS payments electronically into their bank account_
- _Harmony Web Training_
- _Access to free professional development_

**Prerequisites for all In Home Care Roles**:

- _Certificate III in Children’s Services or working towards a ACECQA approved qualification_
- _Hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate - HLTAID0011 and HLTAID009_
- _Blue Card QLD_
- _WWCC NSW_
- _Police Clearance_
- _Public liability insurance_
- _Medical Clearance_
- _Child Protection_
- _ABN (this role is for a self-employed/contractor)_
- _PRODA RA (the office will assist you with this)_
- _Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)_

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: From $33.03 per hour

Licence/Certification:

- Child Protection (Refresher) (preferred)
- Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care (required)
- HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting (required)
- HLTAID009 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (required)
- Working with Children Check (required)
- Police Clearance (required)
- ABN (required)
