Brisbane, Australia 99 Bikes Full time

Join our dynamic Payroll team as a Payroll Officer in our Brisbane location, collaborating with the wider Finance Team. You'll have the exciting opportunity to work across our Australian and New Zealand businesses, offering you a diverse range of experiences and significant potential for professional growth.

**Career opportunity -** We are a growth company with a strong focus on talent. We work hard and have a culture of high performance where our people gain fulfilment by having a major impact on the business. We promote from within and are looking to grow our team to set our business up for long-term success.

**Celebration, reward, and recognition** - Our culture is built on celebrating high achievement through monthly and yearly rewards. Each year our top achievers are rewarded with a ticket to an amazing event in a different country. Last year’s event was in Whistler, this year in Japan and next year in Cairns

**Team benefits** - People are our number one philosophy and we care about their health and well-being, their family and their ‘Brightness of Future’. We offer paid Parental Leave of up to 12 weeks to the primary carer and 2 weeks to the secondary carer, $1000 towards self-development per year, cost price on our products, travel discounts through our shareholder company Flight Centre and we pay our people to ride to work.

**Employee ownership** - Our Employee Share Scheme offers all of our people the equal opportunity to buy shares each year. This ownership is important to our culture as we treat the business like our own.

**Work in a purposeful environment** - We are committed to reducing our social and environmental impact and became B-Corp certified in Dec 2023. e.g. 75% of our shops are now solar-powered, all of our packaging is 100% recyclable and our used bike tyres are re-purposed for the surface of kid’s playgrounds.

**About 99 Bikes **99 Bikes opened the doors of its first tiny 170m2 shop in Milton, Brisbane in May 2007, a shop so small that we could only fit 99 bikes into the store. From that humble beginning, we have grown to become the largest bicycle retailer in Australia and now have over 600 people and over 70 retail stores in the UK, New Zealand, and Australia. In the last 12 months, we sold over 180,000 bikes and we have a loyal customer base of over 1.6 million Club 99 Members in Australia. Our vision to be ‘The World’s Most Approachable Bike Shops’. Best Employer multi-award winner and global retail giant Flight Centre also bought into the business, giving us access to shared resources and enabling us to fast-track our growth.
