**About the Role**

We are currently seeking a HR & Rostering Coordinator to join our team at Melville Grange. This role is the perfect opportunity for a recent HR graduate looking to kick start their career You will gain experience with HR tasks including award interpretation, recruitment, performance and leave management.

This is a fast paced and dynamic role that will utilise your exceptional organisational and relationship skills. You will need to be flexible, adaptable to change and thrive on problem solving. We are looking for someone with the ability to build and maintain relationships with staff, as a key part of this role involves people management.

**Key Duties**
- Central point of contact for staff with regards to their employment
- Recruitment and onboarding of new employees
- Develop and manage rosters ensuring shifts are filled to maximise quality of care and continuity of services for our residents
- Processing time sheets and pay queries
- Staff training and education
- Award interpretation
- Monthly reporting
- Staff retention
- Terminations

This role is based at Melville Grange, our 120 bed residential aged care home located in Berwick.

**Skills and Requirements**
- Degree in Human Resources or other related field
- Ability to work with confidential information
- A demonstrated ability to work and achieve goals in a fast-paced environment
- Well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal
- High level of organisational skills and customer service skills
- Advanced computer skills (MS Word and Excel)
- Current Police Check
- COVID Vaccination
