What’s the opportunity?

Applicants must hold current Australian citizenship status to meet governmental criteria for NV1 Baseline Clearance, which is essential for this role.

**What you’ll be doing in the role**:

- Proactively and independently engage with customers, aligning with the Vocus Account Managers, BDM’s and Vocus strategies.
- Work across all solutions towers on opportunities for strategic Vocus customers.
- Have a rich understanding of voice and data networking solutions and be a source of knowledge in this arena.
- Understand cloud and security services and how they can be integrated into a client’s network.
- Build strong relationships and communications with the sales and customer success teams in Enterprise & Government and be a source of knowledge for these teams.
- Provide thought leadership on products, demand, and new innovations to the Product teams.
- Foster strong relationships with the partner community, and engage this community to provide briefings, training and other forms of engagement.

**What you’ll need to be successful**:

- 10 years industry experience, including at least 5 years in an end to end solution customer facing and technical pre-sales role.
- Broad understanding of Communications standards and technologies including but not limited to:

- Networking Technologies, including SD WAN
- Security Standards and Design, including SASE and MDR
- Voice and Unified Communications, including OTT voice services
- Cloud Infrastructure
- Understanding of International Networking and Architecture.
- Ability to evaluate solutions using multiple dimensions including technical, commercial, and operational.
- Be comfortable in explaining solutions and ideas to internal and external stakeholders through written, verbal, and visual representations. Clearly articulating benefits, risks, and commercial frameworks of the solution options, allowing the customer to make an informed decision.
