**WHERE AND HOW YOU’LL WORK**

You’ll be on the sunny Gold Coast, mostly working from our head office attached to our state-of-the-art vertical farm. We value in-person collaboration, but you can work remotely when it makes sense. Stacked Farm is about output, not clock-watching. Work the hours you need to get your job done.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO IN THIS ROLE**

Reporting to the Chief Mechanical Engineer you will mentor and support a small team of mechanical fitters and a metal fabricator. Your role is hands on and requires a high level of attention for detail. An average day could include:

- Scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs of plant and equipment
- Development of advanced Ag Tech equipment, with valuable contributions to assembly feedback as part of our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement
- Assembly of fully integrated machine skids for international transport
- Mentor, train and support existing and future team members
- Supervise, induct and train temporary labour hire which are required from time to time
- Make sure all tools are well-maintained and in good working condition
- Ensure all work practices comply with WHS standards

**ABOUT YOU**

Collaboration and a can do attitude will be your finest attributes. In addition to these the ideal applicant will have:

- 5 + years experience supervising small to medium size teams in mechanical assembly or other trades
- Experience as a supervisor in an assembly plant, particularly in a heavily automated facility
- Previous experience working with automation equipment, including linear rails, pneumatic actuators, air regulators, feedback sensors and solenoid valves
- Queensland white card (general construction induction training)
- Working at heights and working in confined spaces training are an advantage but not essential
- Forklift & EWP licences is an advantage
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Gold Coast
- Available to travel interstate from time to time
- Organised, focused and exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills

**Must have unlimited rights to work in Australia**

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
